  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi! I'm Traci. I'm a Registered Nurse who loves quilting, knitting, cross stitch, and the great outdoors. In my pre-scrubs life, I owned Real Photography, and you can still see my old wedding and portrait photography site here .

I've created a map that shows links to our camping/hiking/general family fun review posts that you can find here. It's pretty much the coolest thing on this site. Thanks, Google!

I great big puffy heart *love* comments, so please let me know you visited! I try to always reply!

In other Will milestones

I forgot that we had his pediatrician appointment earlier this week.  He is in the 97th percentile (he dropped a percentile this year)—and is the height of an average 7 year old.  He was super brave for his shots and didn’t even cry during the first 3…it was only after the last one that his little face scrunched up and the tears flowed.  The nurse said “I know, I’m so sorry—that last one does hurt” and I felt so badly for him, because I had a shot recently that hurt, too!  He said that “they shot me in my bones” and was so sure that last one had gone in his bone.
