will’s first day at the “big school”
I just dropped Will off at his first day at his third (and final) preschool. He has been soooo excited to go to his “big school” and was excited to see his new friend Diego, whom he met at orientation. What I’m excited about? I just dropped him off and came back home in the time it used to take me just to get him to school…and then I still had to come home! And the drive is just long enough for Ellie to get super sleepy, but not enough for her to fall asleep and have a little cat nap in the car and then wake up when we get home like she used to. She was just about asleep when we pulled in, so I grabbed her out of her carseat and ran her upstairs to her crib–hopefully I’ll have a good 2 hours of kid-free time this way!!
