  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi! I'm Traci. I'm a Registered Nurse who loves quilting, knitting, cross stitch, and the great outdoors. In my pre-scrubs life, I owned Real Photography, and you can still see my old wedding and portrait photography site here .

I've created a map that shows links to our camping/hiking/general family fun review posts that you can find here. It's pretty much the coolest thing on this site. Thanks, Google!

I great big puffy heart *love* comments, so please let me know you visited! I try to always reply!

another in the “ellie and will in nic’s chair” series

Sometimes when I’m nursing Ellie and craft blog hopping I’ll stumble onto a British blog and miss England so much it aches.

Ellie is sitting on my lap and making noises into a cup so that they sound distorted and she and Will are laughing hysterically.  Then she does it again so they laugh again and on and on.  She drops the cup, cries, Will picks the cup up, and it goes on.  You can tell that she is delighting in making Will laugh.

Will: Can you marry me Ellie? (as he hands her a flower) Can you marry me, Mom?
Me: You want Ellie to marry you?
Will: I want both of you to marry me!
Will (sadly): But I don’t have three flowers [he always says three when he means two right now]. I just have one flower to marry you.

I want to be rich. I want to be more rich so I can get more ‘noculars.

Will, who I didn’t even know understood the concept of rich in relation to getting more stuff.
