I am so excited to share this sneak peek with you because it has my favorite picture EVER in it.  I’m so so proud of that shot I do a little dance when I see it.  :)

Leigh and Tyler were married at Boettcher Mansion in Golden.  It is such a cool spot and Nic and I enjoyed looking at all of historic information that we could find about the building.  It was a fantastic wedding and we were lucky to work with quite the dream team of vendors–it made everything super easy and enjoyable!  Debbie from Save the Date Events coordinated the day and made our jobs easy as pie–thanks for everything Debbie!  The gorgeous flowers were arranged by Annie Aubert.  We are always thrilled to see that Ken from Quality Mobile Sound will be DJing–he does a great job with the music, coordinates well with us for all of the photo ops of the evening and sets a great pace for the night!  The Food Guy catered and were fantastic–the food was so yummy and they even saved us salad plates (we usually never get a chance to eat the salad!).

Leigh has such a grace and elegance about her–I just love her getting ready shots!

A few shots in the get-away car were a must!

Thanks so much Leigh and Tyler–you planned an incredible wedding and it was such an honor to photograph it!  Thanks for picking such rad vendors, too!  :)  We hope you love your sneak peek!

And a first of what I can only cringe and hope will be one of very few belly related behind the scenes shots.  We call this “traci’s view, baby’s view.”  Never too young to have a camera I guess!  :P

Andrew and Ellie were married at the beautiful Rockledge Inn in Manitou Springs.  They were so wonderful to work with and the site was gorgeous.  :)  We would happily shoot their wedding every weekend!  (How about it guys?  Feel like getting married every weekend forever?)

Ellie is as beautiful as she is awesome (which is a lot)!!  [And we also happen to be incredibly fond of her name!  ;) ]

Nic and I had a little argument over who took this shot, because we both took pictures of everyone looking out the window at different times that day and this was the fave.  I was massively annoyed to check out the file data only to see that it was Nic’s.

These two are so in love!

Yep.  She’s gorgeous!

We loved this wedding party.  They were awesome and made portrait time so easy on us!

If Andrew and his grooms-people ever form a band, this can be their album cover.  (Andrew’s best “man” was his sister–how awesome is that?!  I went home and was like “Will, listen up–here’s how it’s gonna go…”)

weddingphotographermanitousprings07

This shot CRACKS ME UP.  The words “throw an arm around each other in a man hug sort of way” were not out of my mouth before these two posed in perfect bride+bridesmaid style.  :)

Loving this ring shot!  (Thanks, Nic!!)

weddingphotographermanitousprings10

Off to get married!!!

weddingphotographermanitousprings11

A my angle/Nic’s angle moment!  (I’ll let you guess who shot what.)

weddingphotographermanitousprings12

Right after the ceremony Andrew and Ellie stole away for a few private moments.  (Although I’m not sure you can really call it private if you’ve got a photographer stalker hiding behind a hedge. :)  )  They were both emotional and it was so sweet to see.  I love it when couples get to take a moment or two throughout the day to really savor the wedding!

The cakes were incredible…and shockingly they weren’t professional!  I couldn’t believe it, but they were all made by Andrew’s parents’ neighbor who just happens to be an avid baker!  (I wanna live next to such a Martha Stewart!!!)  I also thought it was really cool that they served Mexican for dinner (yummy burritos!!) and had a margarita machine that was a huge hit.  Definitely went in my “wedding tips/ideas” bank!

I’ll close with a first dance picture:

Thanks for everything Andrew and Ellie!  We loved shooting your wedding and wish you every happiness!!

It’s been a while since I’ve had a behind the scenes shot to share (or maybe it just feels like that)!  Here’s the behind the scenes view of the black and white close-up portrait from up top.  Gotta love cozey moments with your photographer 5 inches away from your face!

Hillary met up with me in Falcon for her senior portraits.  We had to reschedule for weather and got completely lucky with our session–as I was driving home it started to rain!

I swear these seniors get more and more gorgeous every year!
