Kady and Jason kicked off our wedding season this year and I could not have asked for a nicer couple to do it!  Kady is one of the sweetest brides we’ve ever worked with–I cannot possibly express how kind she was to everyone or how infectious her enthusiasm was.  They are so full of FUN, too, and their story of being high school best friends who rediscovered each other as adults made everyone smile.  We were so happy to get to photograph their day and know they have many wonderful adventures in front of them!

Kady’s sparkly shoes were AMAZING and I am a giant fan of her dress.  To know me is to know that I adore tulle, and her tulle skirt and veil were so much fun to play with in the wind!

The ceremony was beautiful (as always with USAFA chapel weddings), and their pastor had everyone engaged in the great service.

Jason played football while at the Academy, so in something that was new to us we got to go into the stadium for portraits.  Kady was so cute with a football in her wedding dress–I loved the juxtaposition!

Their reception was such a fun party.  Great food, awesome cake, and lots of dancing!

Alexis and Adrian are getting married next month and I’m so excited to be shooting their wedding!  They are just as sweet as can be and I can’t wait to see just how gorgeous their Brown Palace wedding will be!

I always capture some new favorites when I photograph my aunt, uncle, and cousins, and this trip to Seattle was no exception!  We had their shoot in Steilacoom at a great park they’d picked out ahead of time.  You know I love a good barn, and this had half of dozen of them!  Kent enjoys photography himself, so I knew I wanted to do a series with them and my antique cameras–Emily loved playing with them!

I’m currently planning my next batch of Seattle area sessions in July and October.  Seattle family portrait sessions are at the discounted rate of $200 and include the session and fully edited digital files with reproduction release.  Please contact me at traci @ realphotography.com (spaces removed) if you’re interested so that I can get your feedback on the next set of dates and locations.
