  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi! I'm Traci. I'm a Registered Nurse who loves quilting, knitting, cross stitch, and the great outdoors. In my pre-scrubs life, I owned Real Photography, and you can still see my old wedding and portrait photography site here .

I've created a map that shows links to our camping/hiking/general family fun review posts that you can find here. It's pretty much the coolest thing on this site. Thanks, Google!

I great big puffy heart *love* comments, so please let me know you visited! I try to always reply!

piles

My tumbler quilt is taking shape.  Currently that shape seems to be a giant pile at my feet.

I played a bit with my charm pack for our FRMQG solids challenge.  I had decided on my design, and, not wanting to waste any more time hemming or hawing, I sliced it up to commit to the design in the interest of moving forward.  Except when I laid it out I realized that the design isn’t quite right for something of this size (our guild committed to something at least 40″x40″) with this large a range of colors.  Crud.  So I’m onto plan 2, with fabric already all hacked into.  At least that narrows the options down for me!

Melissa - I need to hack into mine, too. Notsomuch to commit to a design, because I think I’ve got that figured out, but more to commit to a project! I’ve got SO many in my head, and I need to start ONE so that I don’t start 10! 🙂
