I usually proof photos during my son’s nap, so sometimes after he wakes up I’ll bring him back to the office and have him sit on my lap while I squeeze in one or two more images. It usually breaks my heart, because if there is ever (a) a girl wearing a wedding dress or (b) a pretty girl with dark hair, Will mistakes her for his godmother and says “Nan-nan?” and points at the screen.<\/p>\n

When he saw this one, though, he said “ZOOM! ZOOM!”<\/p>\n

This is Stephen, one of the twins whose senior portraits I shot Sunday. It was something very different for me, because they wanted to include their new passion for motorcycles into the shoot. I was totally game–I love trying new things!<\/p>\n

Stephen really wanted to do his first burn-out in one of the photos, and at the very end of the session his mother (whose bike he was riding) gave in…and here’s the photo! His sister was a little worried that it would be the last we’d see of the bike and her brother, but I’m happy to say that everything went according to plan and this is the proof!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
