The groom caught the salmon we ate for dinner, and the cheesecake was out of this world.  Did I mention that I was in love with the location, too?  It was a destination wedding (the bride and groom are from my native Pacific Northwest), and they rented the most amazing chateau for the week. Here&#8217;s a peek at the dining room&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.needlesandapen.com\/photography\/blog-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/yum.jpg\" alt=\"colorado wedding photography\" \/><br \/>\nIn my job as Laura&#8217;s assistant, I don&#8217;t usually get a chance to take portraits at the weddings, but I got a chance to snap this one of the bride.  Her mother-in-law made the dress, and together they beaded it.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.needlesandapen.com\/photography\/blog-old\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/03\/bride.jpg\" alt=\"colorado wedding photography\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I love this shot of their unofficial first dance.
