{"id":4775,"date":"2008-03-05T12:39:25","date_gmt":"2008-03-05T19:39:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/realphotography.com\/blog\/my-name-is-traci-and-im-a-lightroom-virgin\/"},"modified":"2008-03-05T12:39:25","modified_gmt":"2008-03-05T19:39:25","slug":"my-name-is-traci-and-im-a-lightroom-virgin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.needlesandapen.com\/photography\/my-name-is-traci-and-im-a-lightroom-virgin\/","title":{"rendered":"my name is traci and i&#039;m a lightroom virgin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\">Lightroom<\/a> is the latest thing in the photography software world.\u00a0 And by latest, I mean, it&#8217;s a year old.\u00a0 (It recently celebrated<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.adobe.com\/lightroomjournal\/2008\/02\/happy_birthday_lightroom.html\"> it&#8217;s one year anniversary<\/a>, which basically means the world is waiting with baited breath for Lightroom 2.0.)<\/p>\n<p>I am the last photographer on earth to adopt it.\u00a0 I have downloaded the trial version no less than four times.\u00a0 Each time I open it up, and the idea of importing all of my pictures into lightroom is enough to make me close it, forget about it, and then re-download the trial the next time I hear raves about it.<\/p>\n<p>This time (trial number four) I&#8217;m determined to give it a decent try.
