We are always thrilled to return to the Lodge at Cathedral Pines for wedding photos!\u00a0 For Janice and Kellan there was the added bonus of getting to photograph in the morning, which means that with the lighting coming from the opposite direction, everything was reversed!\u00a0 The same location at different types of day gets used in a totally different way, so it’s always fun to mix it up a little.\u00a0 Janice and Kellan were sealed at the Denver LDS Temple<\/a> the day prior to the ring ceremony and reception, so if you want to check out day one, click here<\/a>!<\/p>\n

Janice had the awesome idea to have a morning ceremony with a brunch reception.\u00a0 I think it’s a fabulously creative wedding idea.\u00a0 It keeps the budget down; if you dislike dancing people won’t expect to dance; and you can spend the rest of your day zipping off to your honeymoon!\u00a0 It also helps if you get the most incredible quiches in the whole wide world.\u00a0 I am seriously still thinking about them two and a half months later.\u00a0 I dream about them.\u00a0 When I wake up and there’s not the world’s best quiches, I’m disappointed.\u00a0 When I go to the Egg and I and have any number of my previously favorite dishes, I think ‘ehh.\u00a0 not The World’s Best Quiche.’<\/p>\n

Okay.\u00a0 Enough quiche talk.\u00a0 It’s making me hungry and lonely for quiche.\u00a0 Moving onto the pictures!<\/p>\n

Janice had mentioned that she really wanted a picture of the bride and groom together walking away from the camera.\u00a0 I’m a big fan of that shot, too–I love the way it looks like they’re walking off into their future together! Add the beautiful rural dirt road and I’m a very happy wedding photographer!<\/p>\n

Bride and her dad before walking down the aisle.\u00a0 Janice’s dad had to be practically busted out of the hospital to make it–it was a very big deal that he was able to be there to walk her down the aisle that day.\u00a0 This might be one of my most favorite pictures ever–I’m a sucker for emotion!<\/p>\n

Best wedding centerpieces!\u00a0 A totally unique idea put together by Janice’s sister–I was completely in awe of these floral centerpieces with plums and a mason jar and a piece of a\u00a0 log.\u00a0 So creative and so beautiful!<\/p>\n
