Okay, okay, I know–family formals at weddings are an unlikely category to find in our “best wedding photos of 2013<\/a>” series. In our seven years of shooting over 150 weddings, I can count on one hand the number of couples that have listed family formals as something they were looking forward to having from the wedding. But we have also noticed that of all the pictures we take, the family formals are the ones most often printed and mounted on walls. So nailing those shots is important to us, and if we can capture the family’s dynamic in that photo?\u00a0 Even better!\u00a0 Here are some of the family formals that made me smile this year:<\/p>\n
