Beautiful Claire came to the studio for her senior portraits while we were still enjoying warm weather!  She was so fun to work with and it sounds like she has a bright shiny future ahead!

The Kellys are one of my favorite families.  Last year Heather orchestrated an incredibly styled safari shoot, and this year she was back with the amazing 80s breakdancing theme.  Heather styles these shoots beautifully with the perfect accessories and location and her total commitment to the theme could not possibly be better illustrated than in the incredible pants she wore!  We had so much fun at this portrait shoot rocking out to the Beach Boys and the Ghostbusters theme–Heather and Leon are definitely winning at parenting.  I realized that I have a lot of musical education to be doing with my kids after this shoot!

Stephanie and Geoff’s wedding has been one of those weddings that’s almost impossible to blog because there are just so. many. pictures that I want to share!  I’ve been bursting at the seams with them actually and have shared a number over the last week on our facebook page because the awesomeness is pretty much exploding out of my computer at this point.  Stephanie and Geoff are just too sweet, too fun, and too in love!  Nic even awarded them the ‘cutest first look ever’ award after their tear-filled reunion outside the Mining Exchange Hotel.   Lots of super fun details to note here, too, like their INCREDIBLE wedding programs and the fun polaroid-type camera they used for the guest book that was a giant hit at the reception!

Stephanie and Geoff’s Wedding Details –  Ceremony: Shove Chapel  Reception:  Phantom Canyon Brewery  Florist:  Twigs and Posies

Did I mention that these two are athletes and incredibly photogenic?  I probably should have mentioned that.

We had their first look outside the Mining Exchange Hotel where everyone had gotten ready.  We then drove to Shove Chapel for portraits before the ceremony.  The day was beautiful, warm, and had lots of beautiful fall foliage:  jackpot!

And as if Stephanie didn’t have an incredibly sweet first look with Geoff, she went on to have another adorable first look with her dad outside Shove Chapel!

Stephanie and Geoff’s wedding party was absolutely amazing, too.  They were like the holy grail of wedding parties: fun, cooperative, up for anything, and a good looking bunch to boot!  The bridesmaids had yellow shoes and the groomsmen had yellow socks.  Stephanie asked for a few pictures to highlight that footwear awesomeness.  I was only too happy to oblige!

Shove Chapel is such an incredible ceremony venue!

We had the most incredible light after the ceremony for family portraits.  I would have married it if only I’d thought to bring along a marriage license.  (The light was so good I don’t think Nic would have faulted me.)

We ended the day with their reception at Phantom Canyon Brewery.

Stephanie and Geoff closed out the 2013 wedding season for us and we could not have wished for a more amazing wedding to end the year on!
