  • Welcome to my blog!

Hi! I'm Traci. I'm a Registered Nurse who loves quilting, knitting, cross stitch, and the great outdoors. In my pre-scrubs life, I owned Real Photography, and you can still see my old wedding and portrait photography site here .

I've created a map that shows links to our camping/hiking/general family fun review posts that you can find here. It's pretty much the coolest thing on this site. Thanks, Google!

I great big puffy heart *love* comments, so please let me know you visited! I try to always reply!

Will’s birthday party day

Will turns 5 today, but we ‘moved’ his birthday to Saturday so we can celebrate it in Disneyland. It is a harder lie than I expected, pretending that today is just his party day and not the anniversary of the date that he came into our livesand changed them forever.

Giggles from Ellie’s room after a two hour nap.  I go in and Will is in her crib and they are playing.  “Willie!  Did you wake her up?”  I say.  “I had to check that Ellie wasn’t dead,” he says.  She is, after all, his first baby.  You do things like that with your firstborn.  […]
