Clint and Bernadette wanted to do something extra special for Clint’s mom, so an updated family portrait makes the perfect Christmas gift!
And we had to get a few shots of Clint and Bernadette at the end of the shoot in the gorgeous autumn light, of course!

With Christmas slowly but surely sneaking up on us, we’ve been busy with lots of family portraits! This sweet family had lots of smiles for me!

While in Seattle earlier this month, my aunt asked if I’d photograph their family. Of course! Because of our tight timing, we ended up doing the shoot immediately after JJ’s 8th birthday party at my grandpa’s pool. This is not generally recommended for anyone under 30, but the kids did really well, and their parents managed not to kill them under the stress (I can’t say I would have done as well under the circumstances!). Gretchen picked the most perfect location–I could tell she knew what I like when she mentioned that the spot had lots of tall weeds!
