Kady and Jason are so cute!  They braved the cold and the snow for their engagement shoot–I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the Air Force Academy Chapel!

On Lizzie’s birthday we got to do her 12 month portraits in the snow!  I love that squishy face and her two little bottom teeth!  I am so excited about the shot Bernadette got for me at the end of our shoot of me with Lizzie!

I’m so excited to share this wedding–lots of favorites from this last wedding of 2012!  Jacqui is one of those rare people who can make DIY look completely professional.  It took me at least an hour to realize that the roses weren’t perfect gray blooms but actually made out of fabric!  When she walked into the reception space that morning I expected her to gasp and gush about how incredible it looked…but she didn’t because she had been there setting it up the night before.  For their morning wedding they had great brunch favorites and a crepe bar–lots of really fun ideas from this wedding!

So many great expressions in these ceremony shots–don’t miss the way Jacqui’s dad looks at her when they reach the altar or the way Jason looks at her as he takes her hand to begin the ceremony.

Jacqui is so stunning!

The vintage style brunch reception was beautiful, from the mason jars hanging from the ceiling with photos inside to the display on the cake table.  The table runners were dictionary pages with key words lightly highlighted (like ‘commitment’ or ‘joy’).
