the power of books

I thought these two were going to beat me this afternoon…we could not get them to sit in the same place at the same time. So I did what I like to do in situations like that–feign defeat. Let them think they’ve won. Let them run and play and find little things that capture their attention…all the while doing recon. And when I realized that they could both be captivated by this little board book, my heart went all pitter-patter.
Brothers reading together.
Probably the sweetest thing in the world.
