Bernadette and Haydn christened our new studio in Black Forest last month and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect for their Christmas card pics!  Pics from their “trash the dress shoot” that day (brrr!) to come in the next few weeks!

Kendra and I have been planning this shoot for a LONG time.  They actually booked it a full year ago, but we were hoping for snow, and we spent all last winter playing “is tomorrow gonna work?  will there be snow?  does the timing work for you?”  With my maternity leave coming up we decided that playing the snow game for another year probably wasn’t the best plan, and worked out a day where we could make it happen!

Be warned–Kendra and Dan are super cute.  Photographing Kendra was like photographing a model.  The photographer in me was like “this is so fun!” and the girl in me was like “I think we hate her!  She’s too pretty!”

Iliana and Freddy have my gratitude for being super flexible the day of their shoot.  I got a call early that morning that a birth I’ve been waiting to photograph was under way, so I contacted Iliana (and was shocked that she was checking her email/texts at such an hour) and she was completely gracious about moving the shoot by a few hours.  It was a wild day and I’m so grateful to Iliana and Freddy for making it possible for me to photograph both!  Here are just a few of my favorites from their engagement portrait shoot!  Get used to seeing these two–their wedding is next week so we’ll be showing their wedding pictures here before much longer!
