one father/daughter dance, two photographers

I was reading a new favorite blog tonight (husband and wife wedding photographers bobbi and mike) and they often share the “one moment, two ways” photos–showing one moment from both of their viewpoints.
That’s completely the best part of having two photographers at your wedding–getting to see the event from two different viewpoints. So, I’m stealing that idea and showing you one of Nic’s from the father-daughter dance that I fall in love with more and more each time I work on it:

Of course, the downside to a “one moments, two ways” kind of share is that there is always gonna be a winner. (Maybe some husband/wife photogs aren’t that way…but we totally are. There is always a winner, even if we have to dive into the EXIF data to see who is right in the fight-to-the-death over who took some amazing shot.) And Nic totally wins this face-off.

If I were the bride I would definitely love the one you took, because the focus is more on her and her hair and her figure look fantastic--look at that tiny waist! I also love the way you can see the trio in the background of the one Nic took. You guys are a great team :)

An amazing shot with both the expressions and the extra of having the band in the background. Being from your biological 'team' it pains me to vote against you, but I must be honest.
