After battling some technical issues I am back with lots of weddings and sessions, and even some personal pictures from our trip to Seattle to post this week!

Nic and I spent our wedding anniversary this year photographing the start of Meredith and Zack’s marriage at The Pines at Genesse!  With a late June wedding date, I know that we will share an anniversary date with many of our couples (Meghan and Drew were celebrating their first anniversary that day!), and it is an honor to share it with a couple as incredible as Meredith and Zack.  They are so fun, so loving, so perfect with one another.  Their day was full of complete and total joy, which is the absolute BEST thing you can do to make your pictures amazing.  We just loved their day!!

There were a bunch of little things that made the day amazing.  I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how incredible the catering was–fantastically yummy, and after dinner they set out popcorn and trail mix for snacks.  Meredith and Zack had the best candy buffet I’ve ever seen.  So much realllly good candy.  And lots of my favorites–with conversation hearts and jelly bellies you really can’t go wrong!  Meredith’s family friend offered up her house for the girls to get dressed at, and it could not have been more perfect.  I threatened to bring all our brides there!  And not only did she open up her home, she also created the best video to show at the reception that I’ve ever seen at a wedding.  It was entertaining, sincere, funny…it was like a dating website commercial!  Another favorite part of this wedding for us?  The first look.  Could Meredith be any cuter tip-toeing up to Zack?  And could his joy be any sweeter?

Rebecca and Bryan were married at the University of Denver Daniels School of Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism Management in Denver.  It was a beautiful day at a gorgeous venue and I’m so excited to share these pictures with you!  Bryan had a fantastic idea for the groomsmen pictures–we all headed down to Mustard’s Last Stand so the guys could enjoy some hot dogs and we could catch a few pictures.  I love it when we’re able to make memories as well as pictures!  I was, however,  informed by a concerned restaurant patron that (a) a hot dog stand is a strange place to take wedding pictures and (b) that the bride was missing.  I logged her complaint in my file.  ;P I usually point out the cool girly details, but in the interest of being an equal opportunity blogger, Nic was really impressed that the guys all got suits instead of renting tuxes.  Better value, and they all looked very sharp!
